You can ask us to delete your LingoLuz account and the data associated with it at any time. This page explains what gets deleted and how to submit a request.
Deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
What Gets Deleted
When your LingoLuz account is deleted, the following data is removed:
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Profile information
- Learning progress and conversation history
- Usage data tied to your account
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1 — In the App
You can delete your account from the Account Settings screen in the App.
Option 2 — Email Request
Send us a deletion request by email:
- Email: support@lingoluz.com
- Subject line: Account Deletion Request — LingoLuz
- Include the email address associated with your LingoLuz account so we can locate your data
We will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Important Notes
Warning: Account deletion is permanent. Your data cannot be recovered afterwards.
- Subscription: Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it separately through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to avoid future charges.
- Third-party data: Records held by third-party services, such as subscription records, may be retained according to their own policies.
